Learning to build a website is more than picking up a new skill. It’s a journey that stretches your mind, builds resilience, and fosters patience as you tackle various challenges. When I first decided to create my own website, I felt both excitement and nerves. What would I face? How long would it take? Most importantly, would I succeed? Each of these questions opened the door to a vast landscape of cognitive growth... and a whole lot of confusion!

What exactly does building a website involve? I acknowledge having tried once before, but I didn't fully commit! At first glance, it can seem like a daunting task. You need to navigate domains, hosting services, content management systems, and various coding languages. None of which is my superpower! However, within this complexity lies a chance for significant cognitive growth... and I'm going to embace it! So please bear with me...

Every challenge teaches us valuable lessons about resilience and determination. For example, learning HTML and CSS adds depth to your understanding of web design or identifies your ignorance (my case!). When I first struggled to format text or add images, each breakthrough filled me with a sense of accomplishment that motivated me to keep going... I think! 🤔

The learning process is a back-and-forth dance between your existing knowledge and the exciting technology that awaits. This paradigm is where true growth occurs, turning discomfort into a powerful driving force, fierce determination! 😁

As I explore every aspect of web design, I continue to invest countless hours into fine-tuning the layout, attempting to optimise load times, and trying to ensure a seamless user experience. Rushing through this process would have led to very average results, but true insights often come from experimentation and taking my time.

Learning to remain patient with myself has significantly enhanced my personal growth. Instead of viewing my struggles as failures, I began to see them as chances to learn and expand my skills.
